So, it's almost 12pm, and I'm sitting at my friend's computer and I'm pretty sure no one is in her house. Which is good, because yesterday I had to spend half an hour talking to her mom right after I woke up, which was...awkward, to say the least. Everything has been awkward at her house, actually, other than her. I'm rooming with her little brother, sleeping on the bottom bunk of his bunk bed.
I really wish I could stay at her house one more day, because tomorrow I'm going over someone else's and they don't have internet, so that poses a bit of a problem. From then on I think the only way I could get on the net is using another friend's Wii, which would be strange because there would be a ton of other people there distracting me (even though using the internet on the Wii is awesome--I can watch TV on the internet on the TV! Isn't technology amazing?) and pulling me away.
I'm sure that, at some point, I'll be hanging with someone who has internet, but probably not on my birthday. Tuesday is going to be like, a triple birthday party for everyone in the group of friends who is an April baby. It is also a drag party and I am lending my friend's older brother one of my dresses, and I will be on a quest for some ace bandage to tape my boobage down and I will probably steal some of my male friends' clothes. I will be sure to get many pictures.
On Saturday I found out that the town's Borders has an Erotica section, and next to that, a Gay Erotica section and a Lesbian Erotica section. We hung around there for a while and read excerpts from books with titles like 'Hard' and 'Hottest Gay Erotica' while laying across each other and probably freaking out the staff a little bit. At one point I said, "This, -waves hand around- is what I want for my birthday." Hahaha. So I may be getting some hawt ghey pr0n for my birthday. Much fun.
Oh, and I didn't realize how much I missed the suburbs. Everyone lives relatively near each other, so we don't have to take trains or buses to meet up. It's quiet, other than the birds singing and the wind blowing through the trees (I have not heard that sound in ages and it makes me so happy). The weeds are these pretty blue flowers, and the honeysuckle is starting to bloom so we just pull random blossoms off while passing. Also, I missed the Chicago-burbs lingo. "The Lake" is lake Michigan, "The City" is Chicago, "The Theater" is the one movie theater here, and no one giggles when they hear me say, "Where's my coat at?" or "Where'd Mackenzie go to?" (I learned a while ago that adding 'at' and 'to' to the end of those types of sentences is something midwestern and/or Chicagoan).
Gyah. And I shall take a moment out rant about Anna's cats (Anna being the friend I'm staying with right now) since they just walked in and are meowing at me. Boomer is SO HUGE, bigger than Buckley, the gigantic white fluffy cat seen in one of my pics at myspace. He's a tabby and looks like a lion, and is really friendly, meows a lot, and has the loudest purr I've ever heard. Jazzy is a black cat, considerably smaller, and always tilts his head when he looks at things (which is incredibly cute, but then I learned that he does that because he got some very bad brain damage after contracting some disease, so whenever I look at him I feel horrible for thinking that he's adorable).
Anna and her brother just came home, so I should go. I am hoping to get on the net again soon. <33333333 Love you.
